  2.                  TVToyc 1.0, first and final release

  4. Welcome to TVToyc, a port of some of the Pascal TV code I made.  It
  5. features a back tracking help viewer and code to recognize just about
  6. any extended text video mode like 100x60. 
  7.  
  8. I don't currently have a computer, nor will I use BC TV again, so the
  9. state of TVToyc is somewhat uncertain. I chose to upload TVToyc
  10. anyway, just in case someone is interested. It would be a pity not to
  11. if someone finds it useful!

  13. To compile the demo program TEST.CPP you HAVE to compile HELP.CPP and
  14. HELPBASE.CPP first and then use TLIB to update TV.LIB.  I'm sorry I
  15. didn't include a make file or sample commands that perform this, but
  16. if you've ever patched the TV library you should be familiar with the
  17. procedure.

  19. If you don't want to mess with this but would rather like to see a
  20. running demo, I can mail a compiled Pascal program.  It's 54 kb
  21. compressed and includes extra features that never got ported to the C
  22. version.  I'll uuencode and send to anyone interested.  Full source to
  23. that program is available as tvtoys*.zip, probably from the same place
  24. you got this. It's Pascal though.

  27. computer it can be somewhat difficult!
